2026 ODA Recital Info

THE SHOW ORDERS are LISTED BY DANCE NAME + CLASS DAY/TIME.

The week of recital, classes will run as usual Monday-Wednesday.

No class Thursday (July 16) because we will all be at the theater for dress rehearsal.

The studio will be closed Thursday, July 16. No class, even for those who are not performing in the recital.

Important Dates:

Thursday, July 16 - dress rehearsal (12:30-2:00 pm tiny dancers / 2:00-7:00 pm all other dancers)

Saturday, July 18 - show 1 @ 10:00 AM, show 2 @ 1:00 PM, show 3 @ 4:00 PM

Sunday, July 19 - show 4 @ 10:00 AM, show 5 @ 1:00 PM

PRIORITY TICKET SALES ARE LIMITED TO 4 TICKETS PER FAMILY, PER SHOW! We do this so EVERYONE gets tickets to see their dancers! If additional tickets are needed (grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc), they will be available to purchase starting Tuesday, June 30th.

$22 per person, $5 for toddlers/infants under the age of 2.
no discounts offered (military, senior, student)
Pre-sale for ODA families is June 23-June 29 (box office is open tues-fri 12:00-5:00 PM)
On sale to the general public June 30 @ 12:00 PM
PRO TIP! Go down to the box office IN PERSON or CALL THE BOX OFFICE to avoid online ticketing fees from the theater! The online fee is $5 per ticket, so you can definitely save money by doing in person or calling! :)

Thursday, July 16: Dress Rehearsal

(MANDATORY / times are different from recital times. PLEASE check all times!)

DRESS REHEARSAL TIMES:

TINY DANCERS 12:30-2:00 PM
ALL OTHER DANCERS 2:00-7:00 PM

Dress rehearsal details for Thursday, July 16:

Dress rehearsal is at the theater (VPAT - Vacaville Performing Arts Theater)
Arrive on-time to allow a smooth check in, dress rehearsal run through + check out.

Dancers will be checked in at the side door on the right, not the main lobby entrance.

Parents will not be allowed inside the theater or backstage for dress rehearsal.

Dancers must arrive with hair + makeup done, costume on with the appropriate shoes. They need to be recital ready!

Keep personal belongings to a minimum, no bags or water bottles allowed (there is a drinking fountain backstage). If dancers have multiple dances, please have them bring all costumes, shoes + tights needed neatly organized in a dance bag.

Saturday, July 18 + Sunday, July 19: dance recital days!

Saturday 7/18: Show 1 @ 10:00 AM - check in 9:30 am

Saturday 7/18: Show 2 @ 1:00 PM - check in at 12:30 pm

Saturday 7/18: Show 3 @ 4:00 PM - check in at 3:30 pm

Sunday 7/19: Show 4 @ 10:00 AM - check in at 9:30 am

Sunday 7/19: Show 5 @ 1:00 PM - check in at 12:30 pm

Recital check in procedures:

Dancers will be checked in at the side door on the right of the theater.

Parents will not be allowed backstage.

Dancers must arrive with hair + makeup “stage ready,” in costume with the appropriate shoes.

Keep personal belongings to a minimum, no bags or water bottles. If dancers have multiple dances, please have them bring all costumes, shoes + tights needed.

Check out after the final bow:

Dancers will go backstage to collect any belongings.

Dancers will be checked out at the side door where they checked in.

Dancers will only be released once checked out with the ODA staff by a parent/guardian.
Tiny Dancers will be checked out first.
Please DO NOT take dancers before ODA staff has had the chance to check them out! This is a safety procedure.

The show is being professionally video taped:

A link for download will be emailed to current students in approximately mid-September.

We will send an email to current dancers in the fall when the link is ready download.
However, if you're taking a break and will not be a current student in the fall, mark your calendar/phone for October 1, 2026 so you remember to email us for the link - dancers who are no longer enrolled past recital will not get an email! (October 1st ensures it will be ready!)

Clients who are no longer enrolled in our system for the fall will NOT receive the email with the link/download.

ODA Competitive Company Raffle:

our competitive company dancers will be hosting a raffle at each show on Saturday ONLY
